When you launch, Sentink locks a study budget equal to your target completes × the booked price per complete (CPI). As each verified complete arrives, that amount moves from the locked budget to spent—one charge per complete at the rate locked at launch. If your targeting or CPI changes before launch, the estimate updates; once the budget is booked, the per-complete rate for that fielding run stays fixed.

Audience sampling uses a prepaid account balance in USD. Top up from Billing in the app (secure card checkout via Stripe); your balance appears in the header and in the sampling wizard. When you launch a campaign, Sentink places an escrow hold on your balance for the full estimated study cost—you must have enough available balance to cover completes × price per complete. Funds in the hold are reserved for that study only; your remaining balance stays free for other campaigns or subscriptions. Every top-up, hold, spend, and release is recorded in your balance transaction history.
