Overview
A workspace is the container for surveys, responses, members, permissions, integrations, and billing context. Use workspaces to keep programs separated and governed.
When to use this feature
Step-by-step guide
Create the workspace
Choose a clear name that matches the team, client, or program.
Set defaults
Configure default language, branding, response limits, and email identity where available.
Invite members
Add owners, editors, analysts, and viewers with the minimum role needed.
Connect tools
Attach integrations such as n8n, Power BI, or webhooks only when the workspace needs them.
Data boundary
Switching workspaces changes which surveys, responses, and settings you are editing.
Screens / UI explanation
The workspace switcher changes the active data boundary.
Workspace settings are usually broader than single survey settings.
Best practices
Avoid mixing client data in one workspace.
Keep at least two owners for business-critical workspaces.
Document naming rules for teams with many surveys.
Tips
Use workspace descriptions to explain what belongs there.
Archive inactive workspaces instead of deleting useful history.
Common issues
A teammate cannot see a survey.
Confirm they are a member of the correct workspace and have permission to view surveys.
An integration sends data to the wrong place.
Review the active workspace before creating or testing integration connections.
